SME React Developer - Clearance Required
Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
Need for a React developer/designer to work alongside a separate contracting team to improve the usability of the recently released IDEAL 2.0 Solution. This is built in AWS and utilizes a host of other technologies (to be provided to candidates that pass the screening process) notably ECS, Fargate, Cloudbees, with the front end in React.
The role is for a SME React developer/designer to work alongside a separate contracting team to improve the usability of the recently released IDEAL 2.0 solution. This is built in AWS and utilizes a host of other technologies as outlined in the attached presentation (notably ECS, Fargate, Cloudbees, with the front end in React). This one is a bit unique as it’s not really Microsoft related so the eventual resource that fills the role will mostly be working independently with the other contract team (ARA who’s based in Baton Rouge) and the respective HSI Forensic Lab stakeholders to accomplish their goals.
(a) Formulates/defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
(b) Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.
(c) Provides overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.
(d) Assists all phases of software systems programming applications.
(e) Evaluates new and existing software products.
Responsibilities: Ability to work independently with other contract teams and respective ICE HIS Forensic Lab stakeholders to accomplish their goals.
Requirements:
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to obtain a US government clearance
Must be on EST or CST
Experience with React, AWS, ECS, Fargate, Cloudbees, with the front-end in React
Soft Skills:
Must be self-driven
Ability to collaborate with remote teams and a mission-focused client
